The postpartum confinement period is like rebuilding a woman — not only replenishing the incredible blood and vitality lost during childbirth, but when done properly, it can also lead to abundant energy and vigor for the road ahead. A Taiwanese saying goes: “Nourish before birth, care for the month within after birth.” Pregnancy naturally demands enormous resources as a woman’s body nurtures another life with limited qi and blood. Add to that the substantial blood loss and physical exhaustion of delivery, and the result is a weakened constitution after birth. Without proper postpartum care, many mothers are left with lasting complications. Clearly, the confinement month truly matters!

- We have multiple drivers on several delivery routes daily, with the goal of delivering freshly prepared hot meals to every mom’s home before noon.
